The Publishing House of the State University of Physical Education and Sport was founded on the basis of the Resolution of SUPES Senate from June 4, 2009.
The main objectives of this university subdivision are:
-publication of some representative works of the university teachers and students, as well as of other authors, who work within the institution;
-republishing of publications on the principle of continuous improvement, both on the basis of suggestions made by the reviewers and the editorial observations or reviews done by the author;
-insurance of content quality and form.
The employees’ activity is focused on two directions:
- selection, proposal and preparing works for the publication (books, publications, blank documents);
- printing and multiplication of the materials.
This subdivision provides the publishing and printing of university courses, monographs, textbooks, treaties, books, laboratory guides, project guides, dictionaries, booklets, magazines of scientific and cultural aspects, in Romanian or other foreign languages.
The Publishing House is provided with modern equipment for editing and copying. All the editorial works are done in the workshop of multiplication of our university Publishing House, being spread through its library.
There is typography within the Publishing House, whose main function is the printing of didactic and scientific works (university courses, magazines etc.) for the benefit of the educational and research process.
