THE SPORTS COMPLEX OF THE MAIN BLOCK

The sports complex of SUPES has a total surface of 10 000 m2 and represents a true temple of sport, where the students of the university train. At the same time, it offers fee-paying services for all those who desire to practice sport.
The sports complex includes 6 sports halls:
- The all-purpose hall of sports games, where mini-football, handball, volleyball, basketball etc. are practised. The University, national and international competitions are organized here. It is provided with modern equipment and with performance sound apparatuses. Trainers: Alexandru Sestopal, Constantin Jubîrcă.
- The sports hall of aerobics, rhythmic gymnastics and dance, which is equipped for the better development of fitness, aerobics, artistic and esthetic gymnastics trainings.
- The sports hall of artistic gymnastics is supplied with modern equipment of “GYMNOVA” company. Trainers: Rodica Podlesnov.
- The sports hall of martial arts, which has necessary equipment for training process in the wrestling events. Trainers: Igor Neagu.
- The sports hall of table-tennis, equipped with 12 tables for table tennis, makes it possible to hold competitions for 48 participants at the same time. Trainers: Valeria Grosul.
- The sports hall for power lifting is equipped with modern and high quality training devices. Trainers: Lilian Oprea, Serghei Stratulat.
The sports complex also includes a tennis court and an outdoor mini-football field, a sauna for recovering and 13 well-equipped locker rooms.
So, optimal conditions that correspond to the international standards of conducting the didactic and training process of high quality are created. The sport complex has a maximum capacity of 800 persons per day, the entire set of services being assured by 35 employees. The daily activity programme of the Sports Complex lasts for 14 hours: 6 hours are alloted for the didactic process, 5 hours - for the development of sports proficiency, 4 hours - for the activities of the rehabilitation and health improving groups.

The sports complex, with a surface of 1000 m2 was put into service on March 27, 2008.
The complex has at its disposal 2 wrestling rooms, an aerobics room, methodical and scientific center of individual sports events.
The sports halls are equipped with modern equipment, where the judo, karate, taekwondo and Aikido practitioners, participants at the national, European, world championships and the Olympic Games, train and improve their sports proficiency.
The capacity of the sports complex is about 400 persons per day and it assures services of the highest quality.
The daily programme of the Sports Complex lasts between 8.00 a.m. till 10.00 p.m., being carried out by 15 highly qualified specialists.
